1. KaVontae Turpin scores an offensive touchdown

One player who has been getting a lot of attention so far in training camp is second-year receiver/return man KaVontae Turpin. Dallas signed Turpin to a three-year deal last season after he won the MVP award in the USFL. Despite the fact that he was a weapon for the New Jersey Generals as a receiver, runner, and returner, the Cowboys only truly utilized him in the return game.

Turpin finished the year with 17 yards on three rushing attempts and nine yards on one reception but made the Pro Bowl after gaining 10.4 yards per punt return and 24.2 per kick return.

No one truly understands why Kellen Moore never utilized the speedster more often, with CeeDee Lamb even seeming confused when asked about it. But now in 2023 with Mike McCarthy taking on more control of the offense, Turpin has been getting the work and has been impressive.

While he's been one of the primary playmakers in camp, the Cowboys are likely to try and get him some work in the preseason in their base offense. This final prediction is that he finds a way to get behind the defense and pull in a deep catch for an offensive touchdown.
