The Dallas Cowboys put a bow on their 2026 NFL Draft on Saturday, and by all accounts, it was a roaring success.

The Cowboys let the board fall to them in Round 1 and came away with arguably the best player in the class in Ohio State defensive back Caleb Downs after a modest trade-up. They followed that by drafting Central Florida edge rusher Malachi Lawrence after moving back and picking up two additional fourth-round picks.

Dallas made the most of its only pick on Day 2, selecting Michigan linebacker/pass rusher Jaishawn Barham at pick No. 92. They added more intriguing names on Day 3, including Florida cornerback Devin Moore.

It's an exciting haul, but the fun is far from over. The Cowboys can now dive headfirst into signing undrafted -- or priority -- free agents. They've found a lot of success signing UDFAs over the years, so don't be shocked if some of these players make waves in Oxnard this summer.

Dallas Cowboys UDFA signings after 2026 NFL Draft

  • Michael Trigg, TE, Baylor
  • Jordan Hudson, WR, SMU
  • Kelvin Gilliam, DT, Virginia Tech
  • D.J. Rogers, TE, TCU
  • Camden Brown, WR, Georgia Southern
  • Dominic Richardson, RB, Tulsa

While not finalized yet, this already has the makings of another strong Cowboys UDFA class.

Trigg is listed first because nobody expected him to go undrafted. He was a projected Day 3 pick following a breakout year at Baylor in which he caught 50 passes for 694 yards and six touchdowns en route to being an All-American and an All-Big 12 selection.

He moves like a taller wide receiver and loves going up and over linebackers to high-pointed contested catches, making him a perfect fit with Dak Prescott, who's never met a seam ball he was too shy to throw.

Rogers, meanwhile, was a big priority for Dallas, with ESPN's Todd Archer reporting that the team gave him $200,000 in guaranteed money. That tells you that the Cowboys believe he can make the 53-man roster.

The Cowboys wanted to address tight end in the draft. For whatever reason, that didn't happen, but they've made it a priority afterward. Jake Ferguson is locked in as TE1, and Brevyn Spann-Ford, a former UDFA himself, showed a lot of growth as a sophomore in 2025 and ultimately leapt former second-round pick Luke Schoonmaker on the depth chart.

Tight end is officially a position to watch in training camp.
