2. Cowboys pass-rushers will have opportunities

In the first five games this year, the Cowboys already have 20 sacks. Most of those belong to Micah Parsons, who has six. Dorance Armstrong is close behind with four and DeMarcus Lawrence has three — which all came in the same game.

All three players have been in the opposing team’s backfield consistently and even Dante Fowler has made a mark with two sacks as well. Defensive coordinator Dan Quinn hasn’t been shy at all when it comes to attacking the quarterback and even though there’s a risk in going after a guy like Jalen Hurts — who can do damage with his legs — he will continue to do so.

We saw this in Week 3 when they went after Daniel Jones with everything they had. The end result was 79 yards rushing for Jones but he was sacked five times and never got into a rhythm with his passing. Look for a similar approach, especially with left tackle Jordan Mailata dealing with a shoulder injury that kept him out of the game in Week 5.

Hurts has always been a solid runner but what’s made the Eagles so dangerous this season is the development he’s shown as a passer. He’s completing more than 67 percent of his attempts and is spreading the ball to everyone. The less he gets players such as A.J. Brown, Dallas Goedert, and DeVonta Smith involved, the better it will be for the ‘Boys. Keeping him running around is exactly how they can do that.
