3. Dallas is just the second team with a winning record Philly will face

Yes, the Philadelphia Eagles are 5-0 but they haven’t really been tested. They’ve defeated the 1-4 Detroit Lions, the 1-4 Washington Commanders, the 2-3 Jacksonville Jaguars, and the 2-3 Arizona Cardinals. The only team they’ve faced that has a winning record is the Minnesota Vikings.

It’s true the Vikings are 4-1 with the only blemish on their record being the Eagles’ loss. However, that was a Monday Night Football game which is practically an automatic win against Kirk Cousins who is now 10-18 in prime time and 2-10 on Monday Night Football.

The Eagles deserve credit for the win but it should be taken with a grain of salt. They also barely skated by against the Lions and Cardinals and beat the Jags by eight.

As for Dallas, they beat the defending NFL Champions rather easily in Week 5 and there was also the defeat over the AFC representatives in the Super Bowl, the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 2.

They’ve continued to defy the odds and their defense has shown they can get it done against some of the best offenses in the game. This Sunday will be a major test for them, but the same can be said for the Eagles who are still untested for the most part.
