Quarterbacks

Dak Prescott, Cooper Rush, Will Grier – Dallas Cowboys (three points)
Jalen Hurts, Joe Flacco, Gardner Minshew – Philadelphia Eagles (two points)
Ryan Fitzpatrick, Kyle Allen, Taylor Heincke – Washington Football Team (one point)
Daniel Jones, Mike Glennon – New York Giants

Prescott is, by far and away, the most talented of the group. Having the best player at the most important position in the game is a huge feather in the cap of the Cowboys. The Eagles earn their two points based largely on potential and depth. Hurts has the most talent behind Prescott, while Flacco and Minshew have both been, at minimum, serviceable starters in this league.

Regarding Fitzpatrick, he’s the epitome of a serviceable starter. He will never, ever be considered anything beyond the top of your “middle-of-the-pack” group of starters. Jones, meanwhile, is already at a crossroads entering his third season. As the sixth overall pick in the 2019 NFL Draft, coupled with playing in the largest media market, the pressure to succeed is otherworldly. Unfortunately for him, he’s had mixed results 27 games into his career. If he is to do anything positive, the time is now.

Tight Ends

Dallas Goedert, Zach Ertz, Jack Stoll – Philadelphia Eagles (three points)
Evan Engram, Kyle Rudolph, Kaden Smith – New York Giants (two points)
Blake Jarwin, Dalton Schultz, Sean McKeon – Dallas Cowboys (one point)
Logan Thomas, John Bates, Ricky Seals-Jones – Washington Football Team

The Eagles have not one, but two high-quality starters at the tight end position and arguably the best two in the division, giving them the gold here. Engram is uber-talented but he has yet to get that talent to translate onto the field for an entire season. Jarwin and Schultz could be better but will never be main weapons for such a loaded Cowboys offense, while Washington is in the process of transforming a former quarterback into a starting tight end.
