Kavon Frazier, S

It’s been a good run for safety Kavon Frazier. A long shot to make the team as a 2016 sixth-rounder, the former Central Michigan star proven to be a real late-round find, nice backup, and a quality special teams player.

Unfortunately, Frazier was never able to climb the heights his fellow sixth-rounder, cornerback Anthony Brown, has. Now, the play of rookie safety Donovan Wilson and special teams ace Darian Thompson has left the 25-year old without a spot on the final-53.

Reggie Davis, WR

Undrafted out of Georgia back in 2017, Davis has bounced around the league over the past three years. Two stints with the Atlanta Falcons, a stop with the Cleveland Browns and the Philadelphia Eagles led him to Dallas’ practice squad last November.

This offseason, Davis flashed his rumored 4.29 speed and appeared to be the possible deep threat the Cowboys’ offense has been in desperate need of for years. Unfortunately, he proved to be far too inconsistent in the preseason with his death knell likely being a muffed punt versus the Los Angeles Rams.

Only bringing in one five-yard reception off four targets against the Texans, and with other receivers like Devin Smith and Cedrick Wilson putting up big performances, Davis appears to be on the outside looking in.
