#2 – Ezekiel Elliott fails to rush for 100 yards or more

The stars seem to be aligning for Elliott to post his first 100-yard rushing game of the season. After all, the Seahawks defense ranks a lowly 21st against the rush.

But the Cowboys found success in Week Two splinting carries between Elliott and quarterback Dak Prescott. I do not expect that to change.

In fact, the run-pass option (RPO) could allow for Prescott to see even more rushing opportunities.

Combine that with the fact Elliott has yet to rush for 100 yards on the ground and how Dallas wants to use him more as a receiver out of the backfield or line up along the outside; it seems more than likely that Zeke will fall under the century mark once again.

Opposing defenses are looking to stop the run first and foremost.  And in the past, the Cowboys offensive line has been so dominate it didn’t matter.

But Dallas’ O-Line has had it’s struggles, so Elliott’s opportunities have been limited. I expect Seattle’s defense to do the same, they’ll try to stop Zeke.

That should open things up for Prescott as a runner and passer, leaving Elliott just short of the 100-yard mark.
