#1 – The Cowboys defense records five or more sacks

Through the first two games of the regular season, the Dallas Cowboys are tied for second most in the NFL with 9.0 total team sacks. And that’s amazing when you factor in only one defender, defensive end DeMarcus Lawrence, has recorded more than a single sack. And Tank only has two.

That means eight different Cowboys players have recorded sacks through Week Two. Those other seven defenders being linebackers Jaylon Smith and Damien Wilson, defensive end Taco Charlton, defensive tackles Maliek Collins, Tyrone Crawford, Antwaun Woods plus safety Kavon Frazier.

Against the Seahawks, the Cowboys are expected to have the services of defensive end Randy Gregory as well. As for Seattle, their offensive line has allowed a whopping 12 sacks against quarterback Russell Wilson. That was the highest number by far through the first two weeks of the new season.

So, the Cowboys have racked up 9.0 sacks through two contests. The Seahawks have allowed 12.0 sacks in that same span. The math adds up. Expect Dallas to rack up the sacks on Sunday. I believe they could have as many as five or even more.
