It all comes down to this. The Dallas Cowboys can win the NFC East and the No. 2 seed in the conference. All they have to do is beat the Washington Commanders, who've been the worst team in football since the third week of the season.

While the Cowboys are navigating their own injury concerns, the Commanders are expected to rest several veterans, including DT Jonathan Allen, WR Curtis Samuel and safety Kamren Curl. On top of that, Washington will also start Sam Howell at QB and could be down their top three cornerbacks.

The stars are certainly aligning for the Cowboys to win the game. They understand what's at stake. Dropping to the No. 5 seed would mean going on the road for the entirety of the playoffs, including in round two against the 49ers.
