Week 18: Cowboys @ Commanders

The Washington Commanders already started making changes with their coaching staff and by the time the 2024 campaign kicks off, they're going to have to move on from Ron Rivera as well. While he might be one of the more likable coaches in the league, he's simply not getting the job done — even with Eric Bieniemy taking over as the offensive coordinator.

Perhaps by the time this game rolls around, Rivera might already be gone — and if he is, Bieniemy will be the interim. He will also be a favorite to take over the job on a full-time basis. If it does work out that Bieniemy is running the team by Week 18, they might be a tough out. But with the front office already showing their commitment to Rivera, they're likely to let this one play out.

That means the Cowboys will once again run them out of the building. So far in 2023, Dallas has been amazing at home but the road has given them some issues. Except for when they started out the season against the Giants.

In that one, they won 40-0 and now, they close out the season with another 40-burger on the road. Washington does manage a couple of touchdowns but in the end, it's a lopsided win that will end with Cooper Rush out there as Prescott rests up for the playoffs.

The only question left for the 13-win Cowboys is whether or not they get enough help to catch the Eagles. If they do, they will be tough to knock out in the postseason. If not, they'll have to dig deep to figure out how to get a few wins on the road.

Score Prediction: Cowboys 40, Commanders 14
Record 13-4
