The Dallas Cowboys have dropped two games in a row, but their hopes of winning the NFC East are still alive as they march into Week 17. Those hopes hinge on the Eagles losing a game, but all Dallas can do is win its final two matchups.

After playing two AFC juggernauts, the Cowboys will lock horns with one of the best teams from their own conference: the Detroit Lions, who are fresh off clinching the NFC North for the first time since 1993.

The Lions prolific rushing attack and high-octane passing game present another stiff challenge for the Cowboys. Much like Dallas, though, Detroit is a much different team on the road than at home. Most glaring is the drop-off in play from QB Jared Goff, so it'll be interesting to see how this heavyweight bout shakes out.

Here's everything fans should know about the game.

Cowboys vs Lions betting odds

After being road underdogs in their last two games, the Cowboys are -6 favorites against the Lions. That's a surprisingly high number given both teams have double-digit wins, but it speaks to Dallas' dominance at home. You can bet the Cowboys to cover at -110 or to win outright on the moneyline at -260. The over/under for the game is 53.5 points.
