The Dallas Cowboys' five-game winning streak ended in humbling fashion last week and they have a great opportunity to avenge that lost on Christmas Eve against the Miami Dolphins.

Nothing went right for the Cowboys in Buffalo. Dak Prescott's MVP charge is likely over, Micah Parsons' impact was minimal and Dallas was utterly dominated in the trenches on both sides of the ball en route to a 31-10 loss.

The Dolphins present another tough challenge with their speed and motion-centric offense. Couple in the fact that Hard Rock Stadium uses natural grass, and the Cowboys could be in trouble if they get off to another slow start.

On paper, though, this is a captivating matchup between two top-10 teams. It has the makings to be a Christmas Eve classic, so let's not waste anymore time and get into all of the important information about the game that fans should know.

Cowboys vs Dolphins betting odds

The Cowboys were road underdogs for last week's game in Buffalo and that turned out to be the correct call. We'll see if that holds true, as the Dolphins are -1.5 favorites. You can bet Dallas to cover the spread at -112 odds and to win outright on the moneyline at -102. The over/under is 51.5 points, so the folks in Vegas clearly expect a barnburner.
