When you think of teams the Dallas Cowboys have absolutely dominated over the years, the Washington Commanders and New York Giants should spring to mind.

In fact, the Cowboys have won 10 of their last 14 meetings against Washington. Incredibly, they've been more successful against the Giants. Dallas has won four straight against New York -- with a great chance to make it five in a row -- and 11 of their last 12 dating back to 2017.

While the Cowboys have a winning record against 23 teams, a number of squads have actually had their number historically speaking.

Even if the sample size is small for some matchups, here are five teams that have given Dallas the most trouble in franchise history.

5 teams that the Cowboys have the worst record against

5. Las Vegas Raiders; 6-7 (.462)

Speaking of a small sample size, the Cowboys and Raiders have only met 13 times, which is pretty odd given the reach of both fan bases. They've only met five times since the turn of the century and Dallas has actually won three of those five matchups.

However, it was the Raiders who won the last meeting in 2021; a 36-33 overtime thriller. The Cowboys defense couldn't stop a nosebleed in this one, as they allowed 140 rushing yards and over 350 passing yards in the loss.

4. Cleveland Browns; 13-16 (.448)

The Cowboys all-time record against the Browns is skewed due to the fact they lost their first four matchups and 10 of their first 11 overall. That lousy run spanned 1960 -- Dallas' first year in the league -- to 1966. Since then, the Cowboys have won 13 of their last 20 meetings vs Cleveland, including four of the last five.

Like the Raiders, though, the Browns won their last fixture against Dallas, which happened to be another barnburner. Cleveland won 49-38 in 2020. It was 41-38 late in the fourth quarter until Odell Beckham Jr. ripped off a 50-yard toucdown run to put the nail in the Cowboys' coffin.

3. Green Bay Packers; 13-17 (.433)

Is anyone surprised? Luckily, Aaron Rodgers is with the Jets now so the Cowboys have a strong chance of climbing back to .500 against the Pack.

Historically, Cowboys-Packers has been a lopsided rivalry. Green Bay beat up on Dallas in the franchise's initial years in the early 1960s before the Cowboys rattled off four straight wins from 1978-84, and eight straight Ws spanning 1991-96.

The Packers, though, have taken nine of the last 10 against Dallas, including a 2-0 record in the playoffs.

2. Denver Broncos; 4-9 (.308)

Not a huge sample size here, but credit where it's due to the Broncos.

The Cowboys started 5-2 against the Broncos, but Denver is 7-0 in the last seven matchups spanning 1998-2021, including the team's last meeting in 2021 when Mike McCarthy's squad was stomped 30-16 at AT&T Stadium.

1. Baltimore Ravens; 1-5 (.167)

Fitting that the smallest sample size takes the No. 1 spot, right? If it's felt like forever since the Cowboys and Ravens locked horns, that's because they've played three times since 2010. Their last meeting came in 2020 and they won't play in 2023, which means they'll go three full seasons without seeing each other.
