2. S Jayron Kearse

At the rate the Cowboys are handing out extensions and new contracts, Kearse might just have a future in Dallas. Terence Steele just received a five-year extension, which leaves Kearse, Pollard, Jourdan Lewis, Tyron Smith and Stephon Gilmore as some of the team's most notable pending free agents.

Kearse will likely be the top priority among that group, but Dallas also has over $40 million invested in the safety position after Donovan Wilson (free agency) and Malik Hooker (extension) inked three-year, $21 million contracts this offseason.

It'll be interesting to see if the Cowboys let Kearse reach free agency. They were ultimately able to re-sign Wilson and Leighton Vander Esch amid interest from other teams, but it stands to reason that Kearse will attract a bigger market.

It would be gutting to lose Kearse, as the Cowboys don't have a like-for-like replacement waiting in the wings but with extensions looming for Dak Prescott, CeeDee Lamb and Micah Parsons -- albeit a year from now -- Kearse could end up being the odd man out in the safety room.
