1. DeAndre Hopkins, WR

If we're talking about free agents that would cement the Cowboys as Super Bowl contenders, no player would do that more than DeAndre Hopkins.

Hopkins is a three-time All-Pro and five-time Pro Bowler over 10 seasons. He has 853 catches for 11,298 yards and 71 touchdowns in his career. His accomplishments have cemented him as one of the greatest receivers of this generation.

If added to the Cowboys' receiving room, Hopkins would join an already solid group of CeeDee Lamb, Michael Gallup, and Cooks. While it remains unlikely HopkinsΒ comes to Dallas in free agency, it would make them the best-receiving group in the league. They would become even more dangerous on offense with Prescott at the helm.

The Cowboys are also one of the few contenders that have the money to spend on the future Hall of Famer. According to Over The Cap, the Buffalo Bills ($1.4 million) and Kansas City Chiefs ($652k) -- two teams that expressed interest in Hopkins -- don't have the cap space to spend on Hopkins. Dallas does.

With the Cowboys adding $10.9 million more toward their cap space from Elliott's release on June 1st, Dallas should be up to a little over $21 million in cap space, per Over The Cap. So, if Hopkins wants to come play for America's Team, the team could make it work.

Dallas probably won't sign Hopkins, especially given its current wideout room. But it would definitely cement the Cowboys as favorites in the NFC and as Super Bowl contenders.
