Don't rule it out.

Jerry Jones has some decisions to make this offseason, and while he holds some of the biggest cards of any NFL general manager, he didn't rule out the potential of doing something big.

In Wednesday's end-of-season press conference, Jones talked about potential moves this offseason. All-Pro pass rusher Maxx Crosby has been a name to watch on the trade market, especially after some late-season drama plagued his season with the Raiders.

The Cowboys will have two first-round picks to use in the 2026 NFL Draft. They already know that they have the No. 12 pick, but that next pick will be decided during the playoffs. Jones didn't rule out the possibility of making a blockbuster move this offseason with a pretty telling quote.

"Don't think we could do some trading with those two number ones," Jones said.

That was Jones' way of saying that he's willing to make more trades.

Jones isn’t going to publicly name who the Cowboys could target if he were to trade those two draft picks, but fans wouldn’t complain if it netted an All-Pro player like Crosby. After Crosby was shut down for the final two games of the season, questions have naturally emerged about his long-term future with the Raiders.

The Cowboys already flirted with the idea of acquiring Maxx Crosby before the trade deadline. The Raiders already hold the first overall pick in the draft, and a trade with Dallas could net them two additional first-round selections. With owner Mark Davis clearly steering the franchise into a rebuild, moving on from a disgruntled veteran would make a lot of sense.

Assuming the Raiders draft a quarterback No. 1 overall, they could add a pass rusher and a defensive back with the additional capital in round one.

While the Cowboys have seen players like pass rusher David Bailey and safety Caleb Downs on plenty of draft boards, it's safe to assume that fans would rather have an established pass rusher like Crosby on their team.

In the press conference, Jones seemed proud to get Quinnen Williams and Kenny Clark. The Cowboys' defense would improve dramatically if they got a game-wrecker like Crosby. The seventh-year All-Pro from Eastern Michigan has totaled 133 tackles for loss, the most in Raiders history. He adds 69.5 sacks to his resume, too.

The Cowboys still need to work to fix their secondary, but a Crosby trade to Dallas would send a loud message to the rest of the league.
