How to listen to Cowboys vs. Lions Week 6 game on the radio
By Jerry Trotta
The Dallas Cowboys and Detroit Lions are by no means a prominent NFL rivalry, but it undoubtedly climbed the rivalry rankings following the controversial ending to last season's matchup.
The Cowboys escaped with a win thanks to a questionable illegal touching call late on Detroit's go-ahead two-point conversion attempt late in the fourth quarter. It was one of the most bizarre endings to a game in recent NFL history, so the Lions have plenty of motivation to avenge the defeat.
Dallas will be without some key players on Sunday, including their top three defensive ends, but cornerback DaRon Bland is on track to make his season debut after he missed the first four games following foot surgery. Bland's potential return will give the Cowboys that much better of a chance to come out on top in this clash of NFC heavyweights.
