It might be exaggeratory to call a Week 5 win a season-saver, but all it takes is a quick glance at the Dallas Cowboys' upcoming schedule to realize it might be true. It all starts Sunday afternoon at AT&T Stadium against the Detroit Lions, who have become one of Dallas' biggest non-division rivals.

Cowboys fans might remember the controversial ending to last season's meeting between these teams.

Late in the fourth quarter, Lions offensive lineman Taylor Decker was flagged for illegal touching for not reporting as eligible on what would have been the go-ahead two-point conversion. It was a bogus call and it blew up into a national story.

Rather than kick an extra-point to tie the game, Detroit went for two again. The Cowboys stopped it and hung on for a 20-19 win. It was a lucky escape for Dallas, but the loss is still fresh in the Lions' memory. Sunday's rematch should contain plenty of built-up tension.

Beyond that, this is a meeting of two NFC teams who are both fighting to keep pace with their respective division leader. It's an intriguing matchup and here is everything you need to know to catch the action.

The Cowboys-Lions Week 6 matchup will be shown on FOX. This is already the fourth time this season that Dallas is penciled in as America's Game of the Week. That means Kevin Burkhardt and Tom Brady will call the game. Burkhardt and Brady have became the unofficial broadcast of the 2024 Cowboys.

Falcons vs. Panthers will also be broadcast on FOX in the late afternoon window so fans in those markets will have to check their local listings. Virtually the entire country will have access to Cowboys-Lions via their FOX provider, according to the Week 6 coverage map.

How to stream Cowboys vs. Lions

In-market fans (those in the Dallas and Detroit area) who don't have access to cable can stream the game on Fubo TV, which offers a free one-week trial for new users. Other streaming options include Hulu + Live TV and YouTube TV.

Out-of-market Cowboys and Lions fans won't be able to access any of the above streaming services for the game. Your best bet is NFL Sunday Ticket, which carries every out-of-market game throughout the 2024 season.
