This would be fun.

So, we've established the fact that the Dallas Cowboys are not going to trade quarterback Dak Prescott to the Cleveland Browns.

It was a fun, silly and downright absurd short period of time when that rumor caught on, but we now know it was completely fabricated and fans have nothing to worry about.

Now, on to things that do matter. We're a month away from the 2025 NFL Draft and, speaking of Prescott, the Cowboys have to find a way to help their quarterback out by giving him some additional weapons on offense.

Many fans want to see the team go with a running back early on, but Boise State's Ashton Jeanty will probably be off the board by the time the Cowboys are on the clock at pick no. 12. If Jeanty isn't there, then ESPN draft expert Matt Miller believes the best option for the Cowboys is to go with another player who is top at his respective position.

Matt Miller gifted the Cowboys tight end Tyler Warren in his recent mock draft

In Miller's latest mock draft, he has the Cowboys selecting Penn State tight end Tyler Warren, the nation's top tight end in 2024. This would be a surprise pick, in a way, but also a fantastic selection for Dallas.

The Cowboys don't necessarily need a tight end as they have Jake Ferguson, who has been a fine starter for the team following the departure of Dalton Schultz. However, the opportunity to add a true threat and weapon like Warren might be too great to pass up.

Warren very well could go sooner than pick no. 12 and I don't think anyone would argue with that. You could make a case that he's a top-10 prospect in this draft and that the Cowboys would be lucky to get him at 12.

The Nittany Lion might best be described as a problem at all three levels. Whether he's lined up out of the back field, inline, or as a true receiver in the slot, Warren is capable of wreaking havoc. He is a matchup nightmare in the passing game and can stretch the field, but he's also capable after the catch in short yardage throws, too.

Some might not know this, but Warren ran for four touchdowns last season and even threw for a score. He can be used in a multitude of ways and is even a willing blocker. For a tight end prospect, you're not going to find one more complete, and he'd have an instant impact on this offense.
