The Dallas Cowboys hit an absolute home run on day two of the NFL Draft. And that is no slight against first-round pick Tyler Booker, who projects as the team's long-term starter at right guard following Zack Martin's retirement.
With that said, Donovan Ezeiruaku and Shavon Revel are two of the biggest steals in the entire draft and that is not an exaggeration. Ezeiruaku is a much-needed pure pass rusher and Revel brings ridiculous size and speed to a depleted cornerback room.
The biggest story of the three-day marathon, though, is the shocking fall of Colorado quarterback Shedeur Sanders, who still has not heard his name called.
Some viewed Sanders as a first-round pick as recently as this week. ESPN analyst Mel Kiper Jr., credited with turning the NFL Draft into the phenomenon it is today, had Sanders ranked ahead of Cam Ward, whom the Titans drafted first overall.
With Sanders still available, Cowboys fans' forgotten draft nightmare is suddenly back on the table going into day three.
Cowboys could select Shedeur Sanders on Day 3 of the NFL Draft
Nobody has connected Sanders to the Cowboys, who traded a day three pick swap for Patriots backup Joe Milton after they moved on from Cooper Rush and Trey Lance. A sixth-round pick by New England last year, Milton is expected to compete with Will Grier for the QB2 job behind Dak Prescott.
It would make zero sense for Dallas to add another development quarterback ... especially one that carries such a big spotlight in Sanders.

That baggage, for lack of a better term, is arguably the biggest reason he is still available. Evaluations of his personality land on both sides of the spectrum, though several reporters have come out and defended Sanders' character.
The Deion Sanders factor is another likely red flag for interested teams. Sanders is very outspoken and a larger-than-life-personality. Do teams want to navigate Sanders potentially sounding off if his son was to ever get benched? There are a lot of variables at play here.
If there was ever an owner or general manager who could tolerate the Sanders' shenanigans, it's definitely Jerry Jones. Nobody is capable of taking the spotlight away from Jones.
Do the Cowboys still have needs at running back, wide receiver and defensive tackle going into day three? Without a doubt. But reports have connected them with Texas quarterback Quinn Ewers. For whatever reason, they're not totally checked out at the position.
It is HIGHLY unlikely, but that the opportunity is even there for Jerry to draft Sanders after he spent seemingly the entire draft process as a potential top-10 pick is the stuff of nightmares.
