Cowboys fans are convinced Tyler Booker just took a shot directly at Micah Parsons

Do you really think Tyler Booker wants to anger a guy like Micah Parsons?

As it goes with seemingly everything involving the Dallas Cowboys, their decision to draft Alabama offensive guard Tyler Booker with the 12th overall pick of the 2025 NFL Draft was met with divisive reactions.

Naturally, as America's Team hadn't selected a skill position player in the first round since taking CeeDee Lamb at No. 17 overall five years ago, many wanted Dallas to go that route.

And had Tetairoa McMillan still been on the board when the Cowboys went on the clock, Jerry Jones all but confirmed that the Arizona wideout would have had a star on the side of his helmet.

But after the Carolina Panthers ruined that plan by taking McMillan at No. 8, the decision was made to bring in Booker.

And as mentioned above, that choice was met with plenty of praise but also plenty of criticism.

Some believed the Cowboys could have gone with the next-best option at wideout and taken Matthew Golden, who ultimately fell to the Green Bay Packers at No. 23. Others, though, were pleased with the pick, as Dallas did get the best guard in this draft class, and one would think he'll step right into the starting lineup on a loaded interior alongside Tyler Smith and Cooper Beebe.

One of the biggest (and most hilarious) reactions to how things played out for Dallas on Thursday night came from none other than Micah Parsons, who was clearly distraught when the Panthers stole McMillan.

And when Booker's name was called a few minutes later, Parsons initially didn't look overly thrilled, shrugging his shoulders a touch before changing course and quickly calling his new teammate a "beast" on several occasions, making sure to say how excited he was about the selection despite the original optics of it all.

As one would imagine, it didn't take long for the clip of Micah's reaction to start spreading around social media, with countless people commenting on how much he hated the pick.

And now, a new clip has plenty convinced that Booker has taken a dig at Parsons.

Some believe Tyler Booker took a shot at Micah Parsons by saying he has no desire to host a podcast, and it's absurd

During a post-draft interview, Booker was asked if he would ever entertain the idea of hosting a podcast, which has obviously become a popular thing to do among NFL players. And here's how the All-American responded:

"I'm definitely interested in it, but I have to keep the main thing...the main thing...like, um, the Jones family drafted me to play football and not talk in front of a microphone about things I halfway know about."

Parsons, of course, has hosted The Edge with Micah Parsons podcast since 2023. As such, some are saying Booker is firing shots at the four-time Pro Bowler. And we're not just talking about those who hate Dallas. Because if you look through the comments on these clips, you'll see many Cowboys fans in there as well.

But this is absolute nonsense.

For starters, Parsons never hated the Booker selection. Was he disappointed that McMillan didn't work out? Sure. It was a popular reaction given the hype surrounding who could have been a perfect fit to pair alongside Lamb. But Micah clearly has a lot of respect for the Cowboys' new offensive lineman.

And as for Booker, do you really believe he'd spend one of his first interviews taking a dig at a guy like Micah Parsons? One, you can't knock one of the team leaders on your first day. And secondly, do you really think Booker wants Parsons to be angry when he has to attempt to block him in their first practice together?

As Randy Moss would say, "Come on, man!"
