The Dallas Cowboys got what they deserved on Friday when Micah Parsons officially requested a trade from the organization. Parsons shared a lengthy statement on social media in which he unearthed the front office's laughable negotiation tactics and declared he no longer wants to play for the franchise.
In retrospect, it is shocking this didn't happen with Dak Prescott and CeeDee Lamb last offseason. The Cowboys dragged those extensions out until the very last minute, but neither Prescott nor Lamb went public with their frustration throughout the process.
Now that he has his money, Lamb did not hesitate to say what everyone is thinking about Jerry and Stephen Jones.
"Never fails dawg. Just pay the man, what you owe em. No need for the extra curricular." Lamb posted on Twitter. This came after Lamb shared a blank Instagram story with the acronym "SMH", which stands for shaking my head.
CeeDee Lamb roasts Cowboys front office after Micah Parsons' requested a trade

Just pay the man, what you owe em. No need for the extra curricular 😒
It is that simple, but the Cowboys - specifically the Joneses - have proven time and time again that they are not serious about winning.
Extending Parsons should be the easiest decision this front office has made in the last 10 years, even more so than Lamb. Parsons was open to signing an extension last offseason. Of course, Dallas was busy dragging out extensions for Prescott and Lamb so that was never going to happen.
The point is that Parsons has been ready to play ball the entire time. He hasn't put a foot wrong off the field and is quite literally one of the most productive players in NFL history over the first four years of his career despite missing four games last season with a high-ankle sprain.
There’s no telling how this ends, but Lamb’s reaction is all the proof you need to know where the locker room stands.
