2023 NFL Draft ‘Dos and Don’ts’ for the Dallas Cowboys

The 2023 NFL draft is rapidly approaching and the Dallas Cowboys certainly have a handful of questions to answer across the board. Their infamous early exit in the playoffs last season yet again leaves them looking for that missing piece to take them to the next level.

With the draft approaching, the Cowboys have some key areas of need. Those include finding another wide receiver to pair up with current star CeeDee Lamb, adding Dak Prescott’s backup and potential future at the position, beefing up the defense, and the inevitable question of what the Cowboys do with the running back position.

All of that said, there are certainly some things that general manager Jerry Jones and Will McClay, vice president of player personnel and draft expert, can do to give themselves a better chance at success. There are some key things to do to this roster that provide instant production while others could leave fans scratching their heads at the pick.
