Cowboys vs. 49ers best NFL prop bets for divisional round (It’s time to respect Dak Prescott)
The Dallas Cowboys will try to avenge their 2022 playoff loss to the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday night when they take them on in a rematch one year in the making.
The 49ers enter the game as 3-point favorites, and if you want our best bet for the game, check out my betting preview here.
In this article, I’m going to break down my favorite player prop bets.
Let’s dive into them.
Best prop bets for Cowboys vs. 49ers
- Dak Prescott OVER 250.5 passing yards
- CeeDee Lamb OVER 77.5 receiving yards
- Christian McCaffrey UNDER 65.5 rushing yards
Dak Prescott OVER 250.5 passing yards
It’s time for Dak Prescott to get the respect he deserves. He has surpassed this total in five of his last six games, including a 305 yard performance against the Buccaneers in the Wild Card Round.
The 49ers are one of the best rush defenses in the NFL, so the Cowboys will have to lean on their passing game in order to find offensive success. The 49ers are 11th in opponent yards per pass attempt, and they’ve allowed 8.2 yards per throw over their last three games.
CeeDee Lamb OVER 77.5 receiving yards
CeeDee Lamb has been red hot in recent weeks, and I’m going to ride his momentum into the Divisional Round.
He has surpassed this number in three of his last five games, while averaging 79.9 receiving yards per game this season. If Prescott is going to surpass his passing total, there’s a good chance that Lamb surpasses his receiving yards total as well.
Christian McCaffrey UNDER 65.5 rushing yards
The Cowboys run defense has heavily improve when Leighton Vander Esch returned from injury last week. I expect the 49ers to try to get McCaffrey involved in the passing game more so than the running game, especially of the Cowboys get out to an early lead.
Let’s bank on the Cowboys defense to stand their ground on Sunday.
