When’s the last time you thought about the Governor’s Cup? Typically given out in the preseason when the Cowboys and Texans battle, the Cup is now in play during competition on Sunday, when Houston travels to Dallas to play a 9-3 team breathing fire after dismantling the Colts in the fourth quarter.

No pressure.

The Cowboys enter this contest as a remarkable 17.5-point favorite, meaning Dallas bettors will have their fingers crossed that either Davis Mills is a total disaster from the first snap, or that Dak Prescott, DaRon Bland and the boys have another fourth quarter where the wheels fall off in them.

Houston is undermanned and outgunned, without their top two wide receivers healthy for Sunday afternoon’s matchup. They’re going to pound it on the ground with Dameon Pearce. So will the Cowboys. If you’re looking for prop bets, that’s a solid place to start.

Dallas Cowboys 3 Best Prop Bets for Week 14 vs Texans

All odds courtesy of BetMGM:

1. Tony Pollard Over 69.5 Yards Rushing (-120)

The Houston Texans’ flimsy front is allowing 169.1 rushing yards per game, which has played a large part in getting their 23rd-ranked defense run over. After the Cowboys found success last week (thanks to a disciplinary spat) starting the game with a heavy dose of Tony Pollard before ending it with Ezekiel Elliott churning against tired legs, it would behoove Dallas to try the same strategy. Bet the over on Pollard, and also…

2. Ezekiel Elliott Over 69.5 Yards Rushing (-115)

…bet the over on Elliott!

Rarely do you see the Cowboys’ thunder and lightning duo with the same number of rushing yards in their respective over/unders, especially since Elliott has been deemphasized in recent weeks. This time around, you’d figure the hard-rushing Cowboys get to 170 rushing yards some way, some how. At least one of the two overs should hit, and likely both will fall.

3. Tony Pollard Longest Rush Over 17.5 Yards (-110)

Pound this. Include this in every Same Game Parlay. Heck, there’s a good chance Pollard’s first scamper of the game puts a win in your column here. These three props should spice up what might otherwise be a sleepy victory on Sunday.
