The Dallas Cowboys might not have “won by 40” against the Indianapolis Colts last week, but they certainly came close after a fourth quarter for the ages. Pretty good prediction, Jason Garrett!

This week, the Cowboys follow up that defensive swarm against Matt Ryan’s inferior arm with a chance to pile on new/old Texans quarterback Davis Mills, who’s been promoted once more to be Houston’s starter, sending Kyle Allen to the pine.

Dallas is a heavy favorite, but in a week that’s already seen Baker Mayfield register a 13-point comeback in over the Raiders, why take anyone for granted?

This one will be kicking off noon central time at Jerry World once again, AT&T Stadium in Arlington. Kind of a rough draw for the Texans. At least a neutral site game would be nice.

Cowboys vs Texans Predictions

The Cowboys might have trouble covering a 17-point spread, but with the Texans’ top two wideouts banged up in Nico Collins and Brandin Cooks, this will be a run-heavy performance from both teams early.

Only difference? Dak can air it out late. 47-17, Cowboys.

Cowboys vs Texans History

The Cowboys and Texans have rarely met in the regular season since the Houston franchise joined the league in 2002, and the last time they faced off, H-Town got a narrow 19-16 win in OT back in 2018. In fact, the last two regular season contests have ended in overtime.
