The Dallas Cowboys’ widely-anticipated free agent visit with Odell Beckham Jr. lived up to the billing. Did anyone honestly expect Trevon Diggs and Micah Parsons showing up to a Mavericks game with the coveted receiver?

Talk about a foolproof recruitment pitch.

After the Cowboys wined and dined Beckham, though, reports trickled out citing the team’s concerns over Beckham’s surgically-repaired knee. Long viewed as a player Dallas could sign and get up to speed before the playoffs for a potential Super Bowl run, there’s concern Beckham might not be ready to play until mid-January at the earliest.

Even the headline-obsessed Jerry Jones himself isn’t confident in Beckham’s health holding up, and it’s seemingly a long shot he ends up in Dallas.

At this point, fans and the general media want a resolution to this dragged-out saga. You can now add a Cowboys star to that list.

Check out these quotes from CeeDee Lamb’s interview with SportsCenter.

Cowboys star CeeDee Lamb is tired of answering Odell Beckham Jr. questions.

Can you even blame Lamb for having that answer? The Cowboys’ public recruitment of Beckham was cool … for about a week. Now, it’s just exhausting and forced, with Lamb and Michael Gallup rounding into an elite WR duo and the latter finally getting his spring and confidence back following ACL surgery.

Parsons has done Yeoman’s work on Twitter. Jerry Jones couldn’t help but praise Beckham during all of his some 20 weekly press conferences. Players, including Dak Prescott, always said the right thing whenever they were asked about the idea of adding a player of Odell’s prestige to an already-established contender.

Do you really think Lamb’s the only player in the locker room who has Beckham fatigue? Though itching for a solution to the saga, Lamb has praised Beckham at every turn. In fact, during that same interview with ESPN’s Sage Steele, Lamb expressed excitement about the idea of sharing the field with OBJ.

"“Playing with him would be crazy. Everything he did for the Rams last year, and understanding that he was that key component. He played a huge factor in their run in the playoffs. It would be crazy for sure.”“Yards after the catch would be nuts. You’d never know what you’re gonna get. Just being out there, you’re going to have to account for both of us. Not to mention MG (Gallup), and a lot of other guys we have on the team.”"

Again, saying the right thing despite clearly being tired about getting asked about Beckham at every turn.

With 70 or more receiving yards in five of his last six games, including two 100-yard games and a handful of catch-of-the-year candidates, Lamb has really come on as a No. 1 receiver since Prescott returned to the lineup.

It’s no wonder he wants a resolution to Beckham’s free agency, whether he signs for Dallas or another team. His superstar performance against the Colts alone told us everything we needed to know.
