It’s almost Thanksgiving, which means it’s time for another edition of Dallas Cowboys Thanksgiving football. A tradition as exciting as pumpkin pie. This year, the Cowboys will be taking on their rival in the New York Giants as they both fight to keep up with the Philadelphia Eagles in the NFC East.

The Cowboys first played New York way back in Week 3 and things were a lot different. Cooper Rush was at the helm. Michael Gallup wasn’t playing. The team was still trying to get their bearings after losing their starting quarterback and several other players to injuries. Despite that adversity, the Cowboys were able to pull off a 23-16 victory, giving fans hope that this season wasn’t actually doomed.

Now, things look much different. The Cowboys are coming off a dominating win over one of the best teams in football and are ready to make a serious push for the playoffs. While the Giants technically have the same record, it does feel like some of the games they are winning were by luck rather than pure skill.

Not only are the Giants coming off a major loss, but they also will be without several key players including WR Wan’Dale Robinson and CB Adoree’ Jackson.
