1. Cooper Gives us Hope
We’ve been in this position before. Dak Prescott goes down with an injury, and Cooper Rush has to step in against a team many see as a contender.
Last time, it worked out for the Cowboys, with Rush throwing a game-winning touchdown. Believe it or not, he’s going to do it again. This entire week, the Cowboys’ offensive players have expressed their confidence in Rush and his command of the offense.
“Coop knows his s$!t. He’s on top of this offense. I know he knows it inside and out. Maybe not as well as Dak but he knows it very well. We all have a lot of confidence in Coop.” - Ezekiel Elliott on Cooper Rush getting the start while Dak Prescott rehabs from injury.

That confidence in Rush may not be reflected in Cowboys Nation, but if the players on the field with him can see it and see his command of the huddle and offense, then we should as well. The Cowboys will lean heavily on the running game this week, but there are going to be times when Rush is going to have to make plays, and he’s going to step up and make them once again this week — and going forward, until Prescott returns from injury.
Game Prediction: Cooper Rush throws two touchdowns, one being the game-winner to Tony Pollard.
