4 bold predictions for the Cowboys vs. Buccaneers Week 1 game

1. Fewer Penalties
Mike McCarthy has been preaching to this coaching staff the importance of cleaning up the team’s mental mistakes on the field in the form of penalties.
So far this offseason, that doesn’t seem to have been going so well for them, but those were games with far more rookies and third-stringers playing. With their starters on the field, after having absorbed an increased emphasis on penalty management this season, this roster will rise to the occasion and play a fairly clean game (compared to their 2021 form, at least).

The team may have a few mistakes in this game, but they aren’t going to have the same amount of penalties that helped cripple an offense that was driving the ball down the field effectively last season.
McCarthy and his coaching staff will get their wishes granted, as the Cowboys will be penalized fewer times than the Buccaneers will be in this game.
