4. Dalton Schultz, Tight End

One of the major breakout tight ends in fantasy football in 2022 was Dalton Schultz. He finished with 131 standard points and was the third-ranked tight end. Will he be able to improve in 2022? While I would not expect him to finish top three again, I think he can have just as productive as a season.

Schultz should see his targets go up after the Cowboys lost both Amari Cooper and Cedrick Wilson this off-season. It would not surprise me if Schultz topped his career-high 808 yards that he set last season.

The only factor we should monitor with Schultz is his contract status and if he chooses to report to training camp or not. Players that missed training camp in the past sometimes struggle in the early part of the regular season as they try and get their bodies in game shape.

I would expect Schultz to make another run at being a top-five tight end, and he should be drafted in the mid-rounds. Tight end is a shallow position so getting one of the top options that you can count on each week is always a good idea.
