If you were to build the exact model of a right defensive end for Dan Quinn, you would come up with Thibodeaux when you are done. The rumors around him are that teams have soured on him due to his wanting to become a brand and questioning his love for football.

The Cowboys are familiar with this as they worked with former linebacker Jaylon Smith who was very much into branding like Thibodeaux seems to be, so that shouldn’t scare this team away. This team is in need of a retool along the defensive line, but a player of his caliber doesn’t fall that far before a team scoops him up. If the Cowboys have a chance to get him, they will.

This choice could come down to how much they trust Quinn to keep this defense rolling. If they believe he can then, you better believe Quinn is going to be the happiest man in that room after day one of the draft.
