3. Edge Rusher

Dallas was the butt of the joke after playing hardball with Randy Gregory. The decision immediately backfired. After the team posted that he was returning, he made the decision to leave for the Broncos just over an hour later. It was a bad look for the front office.

The team was able to bring in someone familiar with Quinn in Fowler Jr. to fill that hole, but Fowler Jr. is arguably not as good as Gregory. Dallas also re-signed Dorance Armstrong, but that doesn’t replace the speed Gregory brought off the edge. With very few options left in free agency, the Cowboys are going to be looking in the draft to replace Gregory’s skills. The player will most likely be a raw athlete, but if he can give them a consistent speed rush on passing downs, I’m sure they’ll take it. Plus, we all know that Quinn has the ability to shape young defenders into strong NFL talent.
