2. Isaiah Likely, Coastal Carolina

Coming in at 108th on the PFF draft big board, Isaiah Likely is expected to be selected on day two of the draft. There is a lot of good in Likely’s game but most teams will be in awe at his receiving ability. He is a sure route-runner with some of the best hands in the draft amongst all tight ends.

Likely is 6-4 and 241 pounds and can be used as a downfield threat due to his speed. He lined up in many different spots in the Coastal Carolina offense, including the slot and out wide. He could help fill the Dalton Schultz role with that level of versatility.

The production was off the charts for Likely in 2021; he caught 59 passes for 912 yards and 12 touchdowns. He averaged 15.5 yards per reception. He has a level of “big play” in his game that will make him more valuable than most tight ends in this draft.

The Coastal Carolina product understands how important blocking is to the position as well. He has shown the ability to be a really good blocker and that only helps his draft value,

Overall, Likely is a very confident player that has the size, speed, and ball skills that should interest the Cowboys.

If Dallas decided to use a day two pick on a tight end, Likely will certainly be an option.
