Things have sure been interesting in the NFC East as of late, eh? Out of nowhere, the Washington Football Team have been rejuvenated and actually playing winning football. They’ve won their last four games straight and are right in the playoff hunt. The Dallas Cowboys, on the other hand, have a serious case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde.

In the grand scheme of things, the Cowboys, on paper, look like a playoff-contending team but when it comes to putting it all together to play winning football consistently, a few times this season they’ve dropped the ball. One week, their offense is dropping 40+ points in a game and the following week, they can barely score a touchdown.

Another week their defense is playing lights out football and then the following week they get torched. What’s most interesting is it’s been a while since the Cowboys actually put everything together where their team is clicking on all cylinders. At any rate, this will be a very important game with serious playoff implications for both teams as we can only hope we get the good version of the Cowboys and not the one that forgets how to score touchdowns or execute basic tackles.

Cowboys vs WFT Odds Week 14

The Week 14 betting odds on WynnBET have the Cowboys as -4.0 point favorites on the road. The Cowboys have -190 moneyline odds, while the WFT are the underdogs at +170. The total for the game is set at an over/under of 49.0 points.

Cowboys vs WFT Prediction Week 14

The Cowboys will be getting some familiar faces back on defense this week in defensive tackle Neville Gallimore and defensive end Randy Gregory. That should help the cause but hopefully, the Cowboys rise to the occasion as it won’t be easy to beat WFT in front of their home crowd in FedExField. WFT are playing fundamental football and winning close games which are signs of a very good team capable of making big plays to seal the deal when needed.

Even though the over/under of this matchup is at 49.0 points at the time of publishing, we predict this to be a very low-scoring defensive matchup. Oh yes, ladies and gentlemen, this will likely be a snoozefest due to the inconsistency of the Cowboys and WFT sticking to what they do best in playing smart football in taking what they get. It gets the job done but doesn’t make for an exciting game of football. Cowboys get the win in a very close game to beat WFT with the final score being 10-6.
