Dallas Cowboys: This play illustrates why Ezekiel Elliott is still elite
The Dallas Cowboys are coming off one of their biggest victories this season on Sunday night. Not that it was a mega-game or not that it was for any sort of major achievement, the mere fact that they were able to continue being excellent without their best player and starting signal-caller at the helm… makes it big.
With that though and with the fact that Dak, again, wasn’t there, that makes the performances of those that were there, that much greater. While the first shoutout should go to Cooper Rush, for being able to get the job done when called upon, the second should go to Amari Cooper.
Not only did he have the game-sealing touchdown, but he had made big concentration-catch type plays all night long to help the Cowboys even have a shot at that point. While the rest of the team had a massive part in the win, as well, the biggest shoutout goes to the guy that has been under a lot of scrutiny this season but is still absolutely elite… Ezekiel Elliott.
