Wide Receiver – CeeDee Lamb, Amari Cooper, Michael Gallup

This is the sweet spot of the Cowboys roster and a group of players that should be highly invested in. As previously mentioned Dak Prescott is back which helps this group tremendously.

CeeDee Lamb

Each of these receivers has the potential to reach 1,000 yards and I see Lamb and Cooper each with 10+ touchdown potential. CeeDee Lamb is only in his second year but he has developed into one of the young star receivers in the NFL.

Lamb should be the first wide receiver drafted of the three, his current ADP is 33rd overall. That has him as the 11th receiver off the board.

I would feel great about taking CeeDee in the third round of my drafts as I expect him to take a huge leap in his second season. He is a high-end wide receiver two with elite WR1 upside.

Amari Cooper

For Amari Cooper, coming off the PUP (physically unable to perform) list was a great sign for him. He even played the first two series of the third preseason game for the Cowboys.

The expectation is that Amari will be full-go for week one and that is great news for the Cowboys and fantasy owners. Cooper’s ADP is currently 42nd and 16th amongst wide receivers.

I think that is too low for a top receiver on one of the league’s best offenses. I think Cooper should be drafted a full round earlier right around the same spot as Lamb.

Cooper should be able to achieve another 1,000-yard season while being in the 8-10 touchdown range. He also has huge boom potential and can win you a week at any point in the season.

Michael Gallup

The 25-year old wide receiver is entering his contract year so he will be plenty motivated to have a productive season. If Gallup was on any other team he would probably be a top-20 fantasy WR.

But since he is a part of the best WR corps in the NFL his targets are limited. Despite that Gallup should once again have a very good season.

Gallup is currently being drafted as the 45th WR in fantasy drafts. I am sorry but you can not tell me there are 44 other receivers you would draft over Gallup.

I have Gallup as a top 35 wide receiver and think he can provide good WR4/flex value this season. Any week Gallup could explode due to playing in such a high-powered offense. If you miss out on one of the top Cowboys be more than happy to take Gallup later on in your drafts.
