Running Back – Ezekiel Elliott, Tony Pollard

Zeke is one of the few consistently great fantasy football players. Ever since he was drafted in 2016, he has finished in the top 12 at running back every season of his career.

Not only should Zeke be a lock for 1,000+ yards rushing but he has averaged 61 receptions over the past three seasons. This gives him a huge advantage in points per reception (PPR) leagues over someone like Derrick Henry, who averages only 18 receptions over the past three years.

Some people are low on Zeke due to his average season last year. But, not having Dak Prescott was the biggest reason why Elliott’s stats fell off.

Having Dak back should help make Zeke a top 5 fantasy running back this season. He is someone that is a first-round pick in every league and you could even take him as high as third overall.

Tony Pollard is simply a high-end handcuff to Elliott. If you draft Zeke make sure you take Pollard in the later rounds.

If Elliott was forced to miss some time, Pollard would slide in as a top-10 running back play and someone that could give you similar production to Elliott.
