Initial Thoughts on Cowboys camp – The Offense

The offensive line has to make everyone smile as Tyron Smith and La’el Collins look to be better versions of themselves coming into camp. I still find it unfair that a man that weighs over 300 pounds and plays lineman in the NFL can also sport a semblance of a six-pack.

The first and second-team offensive lines are exactly how I predicted it would look so any lineman thinking of making a jump into the final 53 man roster have to start off strong come Wednesday.

All of this information and we still have yet to talk about the offensive stars on this team. Quarterback Dak Prescott has moved so well that I don’t think his ankle will have any effect on future playcalling.

I would advise everyone to keep an eye on the tight-end battle. It hasn’t been talked about much but I think there is a possibility the Dallas Cowboys could try and keep Dalton Schultz after the season and figure out a solution with Blake Jarwin. It’s going to be fun to have both this season but it appears early that Prescott really trusts Schultz.

Although Schultz has been more than steady, he is not what Jason Witten was to Tony Romo. When I combine what I watched on film and how these two have played together this camp, I have to undoubtedly say that wideout CeeDee Lamb is Dak Prescott’s security blanket.

When Dak gets in trouble, a lot of his 50-50 balls are thrown in the direction of Lamb.
