#1. A healthy Dak Prescott

All eyes will be on quarterback Dak Prescott this summer as he attempts to return following a devasting ankle injury he suffered that ended his season in Week Five last year. Expect round-the-clock coverage of Dak’s right leg as it required two surgeries to correct.

Without having Prescott under center for 11 games last season, the Cowboys caved in and gave the talented quarterback a four-year, $160 million deal in March. Now paid like one of the top passers in the NFL, everyone involved will expect Prescott to perform at the level he displayed during the first five games last season.

In that span, Prescott threw for over 400-yards in three of those five contests. Possessing the top wide receiver corps in the NFL, along with having running back Ezekiel Elliott in the backfield and an offensive line possess two future Hall of Famers, Dak could challenge for the all-time record for passing yards in a season in 2021.

Of all the storylines that Hard Knocks will follow, the health of Dak Prescott will undoubtedly be the most important as no other single player will impact the results of the upcoming season than the sixth-year passer.
