5 things Dallas Cowboys fans want to see on Hard Knocks
#2. Dan Quinn improving the defense
The Cowboys are already considered to have one of the best offenses in the NFL. But they also possess one of the league’s worst defenses. Enter Dan Quinn this offseason, replacing the scapegoat that was Mike Nolan, as defensive coordinator.
Quinn brings a different energy to the position than Nolan. And it’s one that audiences watching Hard Knocks should absolutely love. Quinn’s personality and coaching style will be Must See TV and it should have fans excited about the potential of the defense heading into the season.
As the former head coach of the Atlanta Falcons, expect the HBO show dive into to not only Quinn’s successes like taking the Falcons to the Super Bowl in 2016 but also his failures. Like his dismissal from Atlanta just four years later after starting last season 0-5.
Watchers can expect to witness an intelligent, hands-on approach by Quinn as he attempts to lift the Dallas defense out of the gutter it found itself in last season. That process should be one of the top storylines to follow on the show.
