With NFL free agency already in full swing, the Dallas Cowboys have thus far failed to make a significant move. The team has made a handful of small moves that have mostly focused on special teams up until this point.

The Cowboys headed into this offseason with a plethora of needs that were heavily skewed towards the defensive side of the ball. The team gave up the fifth-most points per game in the NFL last season with 29.6 and failed to make the playoffs for the second consecutive year. The latter part of that statement will allow the organization to address some of these needs using their relatively high picks in the upcoming NFL Draft.

Dallas currently holds a whopping eleven draft picks including five in the top 100. The team will kick off the draft with the tenth overall pick and looks poised to target either a defensive player or a generational talent on offense (Either tight end Kyle Pitts or offensive lineman Penei Sewell).

This fact allowed the team to head into free agency with a little less urgency than most teams. It should also be noted that the organization did reach a blockbuster deal with its starting quarterback Dak Prescott before the unofficial start of free agency. However, the team still has approximately $17 million in cap space and the potential to address some of its needs before the draft.

Without further ado, here are three available (at the time of this writing) free agents that the Dallas Cowboys should target during the remainder of free agency.
