The Offensive Line

Tyron Smith was out of the contest yesterday, so there is that, but that isn’t the only thing to concern ourselves with.

Look, the rookie right tackle in Terence Steele is holding his own and should only continue to get better, but we need that to be fast.

Teams are attacking him on defense. Even when they aren’t attacking him, having weaknesses in the line makes the line weaker as a whole.

It was showing early on in the Falcons game a ton until Tak McKinley went down with injury, but still at least a little afterward.

Again, the only thing that can make Steele and this line as a unit better are reps, time, and subsequently game action, but we need that to happen more sooner than later.

If Dak Prescott isn’t able to stand up straight, then he won’t be able to make the plays. That’s exactly where we are headed next though.
