The Cowboys may have won the draft lottery when they landed arguably the top wide receiver prospect in the entire class with the 17th overall pick in April. And the prospect of seeing the trio of Amari Cooper, Michael Gallup, and rookie CeeDee Lamb all on the field at the same time has Cowboys’ fans salivating.

The early returns concerning Lamb at training camp have been nothing but positive. With eye-popping catches happening on a daily basis, it’s hard not to get excited about the rookie’s potential even in his first season.

With the lofty goal of fielding three 1,000-yard receivers in 2020, the Cowboys’ passing offense figures to be the envy of the league this season. And Lamb represents a massive wildcard for opposing defenses as a potential number one wide receiver playing in the slot.

As a junior for the Sooners last season, Lamb racked up 62 receptions for 1,327 yards, and14 touchdowns while averaging 21.4 yards per catch over 13 games.
