#2. Ezekiel Elliott, RB

Despite the offseason disrespect Ezekiel Elliott has received, he’s currently the second most talented Cowboy on our list. Zeke is arguably the best running back in the NFL, especially when you factor in his outstanding play as a pass blocker.

The NFL’s leading rusher twice in his first four seasons in the league, Elliott’s production from 2019 is still the envy of most teams. Zeke racked up 1,357 yards and 12 touchdowns averaging 4.5 yards per carry. He was fourth in the NFL in rushing yards last season despite the Cowboys’ passing offense ranking second.

Elliott is also an excellent receiver out of the backfield, posting 54 receptions for 420 yards and two more scores through the air in 2019. Zeke is the league’s best overall running back in our books. And he would sit atop this list if not for …

#1. Zack Martin, RG

While offensive guard is not a glamorous position, Zack Martin‘s play over his first six seasons in Dallas shines too bright to ignore here. Martin has gone a perfect six-for-six when it comes to Pro Bowl nominations and All-Pro nods (four first-team, two second-team).

Not only has Martin been absolutely dominant at his position, never earning a Pro Football Focus score lower than 81.5 overall, the 29-year old has been incredibly consistent in both his high level of play and his durability. Martin has missed just two games over his six-year career so far.
