#4. Dak Prescott, QB

I’m not sure why this would be a controversial selection here, but I expect it might be. Anyone who watched the Cowboys last season saw that quarterback Dak Prescott is capable of playing at a high-level, throwing for nearly 5,000 yards. And you must confess the Dink-n-Dak label no longer applies.

Yet, the Cowboys lost eight games in 2019. And when the team needed Prescott to step up during a critical Week 15 battle against the Philadelphia Eagles with the divisional title hanging in the balance, Dak struggled. And while both wins and losses are a result of a collective team effort, the quarterback shoulders the bulk of the praise and the blame.

The next label Prescott will need to shake is being a player who can carry a team to victories without relying so heavily on the All-Pro supporting cast around him to do so. And based on his progression so far, we believe Dak can do it.

#3. Amari Cooper, WR

A season and a half of playing for America’s Team and it’s hard to imagine why the Oakland Raiders ever wanted to part ways with wide receiver Amari Cooper. Even for a first-round selection.

Cooper has been a difference-maker in Dallas. Whether that be as the team’s top receiving target or as a defensive sponge allowing fellow wideouts Michael Gallup and Randall Cobb to excel last season.

Just 26 years old, Cooper has been elected to the Pro Bowl four times in his impressive five-year career so far. And despite a noticeable drop off on the road in 2019, Amari was still able to post career-highs with 1,189 receiving yards, 15.1 yards per catch, and eight touchdowns.
