The Dallas Cowboys usher in the 2020 training camp with an impressive batch of new rookies. The young guns will turn up the heat.

Finally, a breath of fresh air. The Dallas Cowboys enter 2020 with a hot set of new rookies ready to compete and mold a legacy of their own. Of course, we can’t open the 2020 campaign without reflecting on the new headmaster, Mike McCarthy.

Yes, the Dallas Cowboys begin again. I have to tell you that writing that one sentence is enough to rev up the electricity through the fingers. It’s a dawn of a new era. A brilliant set of rookies approach the bullpen and along with it, expectations soar once again for America’s Team.

The Cowboys boot the new decade with a new blueprint. A promising set of new characters, young and talented, supplement the training camp headlines. In particular, the 2020 training camp wars should be an eyeball stealer.

Well, with the kicking situation ending before it even started, there are still plenty of camp fights to follow. Here are three camp wars I got my eye on. Enjoy the list.

1. Trevon Diggs versus CeeDee Lamb

Two rookies. The Dallas Cowboys selected the pair with their first two draft picks of the 2020 NFL Draft. Now, the duo will battle.

While Lamb has been hoarding all the spotlight thus far, I’d expect Diggs to grab back some of that limelight back towards his direction.

If you recall, I listed Diggs as a potential first-round pick for America’s Team. He didn’t go in the first round, but with the 51st overall pick, the Cowboys land a new cornerback from Alabama. The Cowboys lost Byron Jones to the Miami Dolphins, but gain another cornerback who raises the value of the cornerback room overall.

I can’t wait until this duo of rookies lineup, face to face. In general, as the pair of newcomers settle in and grow as NFL pros, the dynamic battle between the two should make each player rise in the ranks. Of course, we get front row seats to watch as they progress and grow. Until then, enjoy the fireworks.
