New York Giants

Draft Pick: #4

Team Needs: Edge Rusher, Cornerback, Safety, Wide Receiver, Offensive Line

It’s not very often that the Dallas Cowboys have to see two of their division rivals picking this high in the draft. This year is going to be one where the Redskins and the Giants can ruin the Cowboys plans in the draft. The Giants new coach Joe Judge has a lot of work to do on both sides of the football.

The first order of business is to fix an offensive line that surrendered 43 sacks in 2020. They will also need to focus on getting their young franchise quarterback Daniel Jones weapons on the outside, just like the Redskins are with Haskins. After that, they can start to look at their pass rush and secondary problems which again is going to be a big focus for the Cowboys in the draft.

Their lack of a pass rush just like the Redskins led to a horrible secondary and even though the Giants did use a first-round pick on a cornerback last year they need another starter after trading Janoris Jenkins away. Same goes for the safety position after letting Landon Collins go in free agency, his departure allowed teams to throw for 30 touchdowns against the 30th ranked defense in the league.

So you have to keep the Giants in mind when the Dallas Cowboys are on the clock especially when there are still very good prospects at cornerbacks and safety on the board.
