Overall

Overall, Dallas can win the game but is not expected to. It is a big and important game, but it is not a must-win game. Contributor for The Landry Hat, Matthew Liebl, wrote about Dallas may gain from a win.

"“It would also be a confidence booster for the team as they would knock off a legitimate Super Bowl contender (and many’s favorites to win it all). But it’s not a must-win for the Cowboys by any means.”"

I would have to agree with this statement. The confidence that the Cowboys would get after beating the Pats would be through the roof and should continue well into the season. Considering the schedule up ahead, it is not a must-win.

If the schedule was tougher or if the Philadelphia Eagles were leading the division, then maybe it would be much more of a must-win. Regardless, as long as if it’s a loss by 10 points or less, it is not a bad game.

The chances of the Cowboys beating the Patriots to me is about 50 percent. Let me know what you think!
