4. Gavin Escobar | Tight End | Born February 3rd, 1991

The blueprint to spark the offense with a two tight end system hasn’t really taken off for the Boys — despite numerous tight ends drafted alongside Jason Witten.

Escobar, who owns the nickname “Pablo,” has shown incredible play-making ability with his superb hands. The six-foot-six tight end has the agility and flexible that coaches drool over. His leaping ability on the field makes him a major threat for defenses.

But Escobar has shown a propensity to fade away for long stretches.

He has played in 46 games over the past three seasons, starting in six of those games. He has 26 receptions, seven touchdowns and 303 receiving yards in his career.

While the 25-year-old has provided some nice highlight reels for news stations, the former second rounder out of San Diego State hasn’t lived up to his billing.

If he pokes his head out more in 2016 next to the other weapons — Bryant, Witten, Ezekiel Elliott, Cole Beasley, Tony Romo — then opposing defenses will have a nightmare to deal with.
